Designing your own herb garden, growing medicinal and culinary herbs, gardening as a therapy botany and plant identification, harvesting and processing herbs, pharmacognosy (plant chemistry), materia medica, and clinical applications, pharmacy and medicine making.
This program is for people who: are passionate about natural medicine; are passionate about plants; want to empower themselves with knowledge about self care; want to be able to help their friends and family with simple health challenges; want to rely less on the medical system.

Herb Study Club
Starting in September, we will gather at Innis free Farm the first Thursday of each month to listen to one of the 90 minute lectures by leading international herbalists recorded at various herbal conferences over the last few years. Notes will be made available, and following the lecture there will be discussion of the material, review of the materia medica, clinical applications, and more.
Date: first Thursday of each month starting Sep. 2nd (9 sessions, no meeting in Nov.).
Time: 6.30 – 9 pm
Fee: $75.00 for 9 lectures and discussions; or a drop in fee of $10 a session
